MAC Moisturizer: Improves Celiac Skin Tone

The results of descriptive research on celiac disease suggest that people with celiac often have pallid skin tone, which was definitely true for me. After being on a gluten free diet for a few weeks, I wanted to look as healthy as I’d started feeling, and because my wedding was quickly approaching, I wanted to look radiant. I stumbled upon MAC Strobe Liquid while reading Instyle.com, which recommended it to get the luminous skin tone seen on the red carpet. MAC Strobe Liquid is an illuminating lotion that can be mixed with foundation or used in more localized places such as on cheekbones and temples to enhance skin tone and luster. It’s completely gluten-free (i.e., it contains no wheat, barley, rye, or oat derivatives), but does contain ingredients derived from corn and soy. I apply it around my eyes, cheekbones, and temples, and it provided me with a healthy glow in my wedding photos. Although my skin color has noticeably improved after being on a gluten-free diet for several months, I’m still fairly pale, and I continue to use Strobe Liquid. It is very moisturizing, so I’m careful not to apply it to any areas that may be prone to breakouts. In the Midwest, MAC is not widely available in department stores, but it can be purchased online. MAC has frequent promotions during which they offer customers free shipping, so I recommend purchasing it directly from them. As always, ingredients are subject to change, so please contact MAC customer service to confirm that the product is still gluten free before you purchase it. Their customer service department is terrific, and they respond to inquiries in a prompt and professional manner. I love this product, and I’m interested to hear what you think.
